Mrs. Luise’ Maldonado- As a young girl, Maldonado has always wanted to pursue a career in dance. Her love and passion for the art started in Fayetteville, North Carolina at Charlotte Blum School of Dance. After moving to Texas to help take care of her Oma, Maldo was a part of the first competitive group for Gymkix High Velocity Dance Company, the Fierce Five. After 7 years, Maldo’s family decided to move to Cedar Park, Texas to pursue a new opportunity. Going into her freshman year at Vista Ridge High School, Maldo decided to audition for the Star Stepper Dance Team. In her years on the team, she served as a class representative, 2nd Lieutenant, and Captain her senior year. She also danced at The Dance Spot, directed by Quinton Weathers, and took classes around the city of Austin.

Maldonado is a proud alumni of Blinn College and Sam Houston State University. For the first two years of her college career, Maldo was a member and Captain of Beta Tau. After her years at Blinn College, she went on to become a member and captain of the Orange Pride Dance Team, where they became NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! After graduating, Maldonado worked and danced with Dancin’ Bluebonnets from 2013-2018. During her time there, her teams won numerous awards including NDA, ADTS, Showtime, and The Dance Summit Champions! Maldonado also danced for the open team where they won a World Championship title in 2018. In the fall of 2018, Maldo hung up her dance hat and became a full time coach in 2018 at Magnolia High School where she led them to their first national competition and placed 3rd in Game Day, 4th in Team Dance, 12th in Pom, and 18th in Jazz and became the BAND APP Exemplary Role Model winner. Her time at Magnolia was spent loving the team and creating dancers of the future. After much consideration, Maldonado decided to become a part of LOBO Nation where she is now the Assistant Director of the award winning Bailadoras Dance Team.

Outside of Texas, Luise choreographs all over the nation for studio, high school, and college teams. She is also a Head Instructor for the National Dance Alliance where she became the Top HI of 2019 and has been able to travel and teach dancers from all over the world, even ROME!
