The Purpose of the Bailadoras Parent Organization

 

The purpose of this organization is to promote the welfare and objectives of the Bailadoras by providing moral and financial support to the Bailadoras, to their director(s), and to the school when requested. The BPO is exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. It is not the purpose of the BPO to discuss dance team and school policies in individual situations at meetings. The Organization will support the requests of the Director(s) and provide funding for costumes, enhanced instructions, instructional materials, performances, competitions, travel, scholarships, and other items and services as needed. The Organization will strive to foster a spirit of success and dance achievement for each Bailadora, to provide confidence, emphasizing and promoting character development at all times to assure that each member feels equally important to the whole Organization. The Director(s), along with the School Administration has the right to dissolve and reform the Organization in the event that the Organization’s mission and practices become inconsistent with the vision for the Dance program or becomes inconsistent with Cypress Fairbands ISD  rules and/or regulations. No part of the net earnings of the Organization shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its member, trustees, officers or other private persons, except that the Organization shall be authorized to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in furtherance of the purposes set forth in the purpose of clause hereof.
